This collage of photographs represents different aspects of Papua New Guinea and how my life fits into the spectrum of its harshness and beauty. The first collage shows the country as underdeveloped, while the next collage displays the true beauty I know to thrive there. My life, born and raised in this place is represented in the final collage of my home to show how I exist somewhere between the dark and light of this island nation. The text addresses my emotions with my childhood home being sold and my parents moving permanently out of the country.
